Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds welcome a third child to their family
Things have shifted pretty delightfully at the home of actors Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, with the popular pair welcoming their third child together. Hurrah!
Baby number three!
Ryan and Blake were already parents to a couple of gorgeous daughters. Inez is two years old and young James is four. We’re guessing these little girls are very, very excited about their new big sister role.
That said, we actually have few details on the new arrival, due to this couple’s understandable preference for privacy.
Their third pregnancy was revealed – in the form of an obvious baby bump – when Blake and Ryan turned up at the premiere of Pokemon: Detective Pikachu earlier this year.
It’s unclear exactly when this little one was born, but what is known is that this family of five is over the moon.
“They are so happy and excited about having another baby,” a source told People magazine.
“They really are the most in-love and in-tune couple, and very hands-on parents. They’d have a dozen kids if they could.”
The bigger, the better
Indeed, Gossip Girl Blake has confirmed that ‘the bigger, the better’ is her motto, when it comes to family.
“I’ve always wanted a big family,” she told Allure. “I’d love 30 [kids] if I could.”
The couple are well on the way to that big family, but we won’t be seeing their kids any time soon.
Ryan recently told Fatherly that while he and Blake may have chosen to live some of their life in the public eye, their kids didn’t sign up for the same thing.
“We live as normal a life as we can live,” Ryan explained of this privacy push.
“Our kids aren’t a part of Instagram or social media. I talk about them, but I never post photos of them and neither has Blake. It’s not something we would want to be a part of.”
“Being in public is a choice that people should be allowed to make when they’re of age. I would never want them to resent me for that. I want them to have as normal a childhood as possible.”
