“I have no idea what I’m doing” Blake Lively has her doubts about motherhood
If you think celebrity parents have it all together, Blake Lively’s a reminder that many are struggling much like us. They just have heaps more money to dry their tears with!
“I have no idea what I’m doing”
Blake recently chatted to Cosmopolitan for a May cover story and revealed she’s felt relatably overwhelmed by the parenting task at hand.
“I have no idea what I’m doing!” the mum of two told Cosmo. “I have a little life in my hands and I’m not equipped to do this!”
This pretty much sums up the thoughts of every exhausted and recovering mum, as she sits inside her home with a newborn baby in her arms. A sort of disbelief that we’ve been entrusted with an actual human being!
“Family is the most important thing”
It’s probable that Blake was able to push these thoughts aside and get on with the job of giving mumming her best shot. She and husband Ryan Reynolds are now renowned for guarding their children’s privacy furiously (and making fun of them on Twitter, at least a little bit of the time!).
“Family is the most important thing in the world to me … my personal life has always been my priority,” Blake said. This is no surprise, especially considering her response to the unauthorised publication of photos of her daughter last week.

“Please remove this photo”
Blake’s reps did the rounds of media, requesting the images, which were taken covertly as she attended Martha Stewart’s Easter party, be removed. They also implored other outlets not to publish the pics, and called for privacy for three-year-old James and one-year-old Ines.
“We appreciate all magazines, websites and publications who are standing by protecting the privacy of children and vowing to cut off the supply chain to help end the stalking of children,” the couple’s reps told Page Six.
Walking the talk
It was also reported that Blake herself got in touch with Instagram accounts who had republished the images, asking for them to be removed.
“Thank you for your support but please remove this photo right away. It was taken without my knowledge or consent by a man hiding. Thank you!!!!”
This couple leaves no stone unturned when it comes to protecting their kids, fiercely walking their “family is paramount” talk. And who can blame them?
I wish. I could use a little “me time”. https://t.co/S6kXFsWaMe

Nothing better than the simple joys of finding 5 bucks in an old pair of pants, or discovering my wife and I had a second daughter over a year ago.

A couple of jokesters
On a lighter note, Blake and Ryan have been keeping fans and followers entertained on Instagram over the last year or so, trolling each other – and laughing in the face of rumours about their marriage and a possible split.
“I wish. I could use a little ‘me time'” Ryan wrote in response to a tweet about the pair’s alleged struggle to spend time together.
On a photo of herself and Ryan, Blake wrote; “If there’s one thing I’m infinitely proud of, it’s the incredible hair styling that I did on myself.” Chortle.
