Ryan Reynolds shares ten unflattering pregnancy pics of Blake Lively
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively surprised fans with a pregnancy reveal to coincide with the release of Ryan’s film Detective Pikachu back in May.
Happy birthday Blake
Since then Blake has been laying pretty low, presumably enjoying spending time with the two daughters she shares with Ryan as her pregnancy progresses.
This radio silence was broken overnight by confirmed troll Ryan, as he blessed fans with a pretty hilarious update to celebrate Blake’s 32nd birthday.
An album of ten photos of his pregnant significant other and former Gossip Girl star appeared on Instagram, each funnier than the one before.
The shots show Blake out of frame, out of focus, clumsily posed or with her eyes closed.
“Happy Birthday, @blakelively,” Ryan captioned the update, no doubt patting himself on the back and guffawing as he posted.
Sorry not sorry
His (affectionate) efforts to (jokingly) show Blake in a less than picture-perfect light only served to make everyone love her more.
“Haha! Happy birthday she’s still always so beautiful” Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown commented.
Deadpool creator Rob Liefield agreed. “There are no bad pictures of Blake Lively” he posted.
Fans chimed in as well, noting this pair were the ubiquitous “couples goals” and that troll goals Ryan had done it again! And also that Blake is fabulous no matter how unguarded the photo.
This cheeky pair are already mum and dad to two gorgeous daughters. James is four and Inez is about to turn three.
They keep their kids well away from the spotlight and in fact when they did debut their kids in 2017 as Ryan received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the media went into meltdown and their little faces were beamed across the globe.
It’s not surprising they have a protective and private approach to parenting.
