Did Duchess Meghan’s friend bust out an accidental Baby Sussex gender reveal?
Whoops! While Harry and Meghan have been fairly tight-lipped about actual details on Baby Sussex, it’s a little more difficult getting friends and family to stay mum. So to speak!
A little Lady on the way?
We know that the littlest royal is due to arrive in April (or May!) and Harry’s already let slip that he’s pretty keen to have a daughter.
During the couple’s Australian tour last year a fan called out – “I hope it’s a girl!”
“So do I!” Harry called back.

We also know that Meghan’s popped a special keepsake away for a future baby girl.
“I’ve always coveted the Cartier French Tank watch. When I found out Suits had been picked up for our third season — which, at the time, felt like such a milestone — I totally splurged and bought the two-tone version,” Meghan told Hello! magazine in 2015.
“I had it engraved on the back, ‘To M.M. From M.M.’ and I plan to give it to my daughter one day. That’s what makes pieces special, the connection you have to them.”
And now there’s even more chatter about a little Lady possibly being on board because apparently one of Meg’s New York baby shower guests has been spotted buying pretty pink baby clothes in New York.
Misha Nonoo’s purchases are being seen as a further clue that the royal couple are expecting a little girl.
Fans think it’s another clue
Fashion designer Misha and Meghan have been friends for several years. Misha is also the person who set Meg and Harry up on their very first date (although some say it was her buddy Markus Andersson who first made the match.)
Recent photographs show Misha purchasing a pink cashmere baby shawl, Express UK reports. These shots have royal watchers convinced a baby girl is on the way.
Misha, however, is not at all interested in talking about this much-anticipated baby. When asked about the pair she told Fox News: “I don’t discuss personal relationships at all, but I’m very happy for them.”
Sooner rather than later
While Baby Sussex’s official due date – according to Buckingham Palace – is during the UK Spring, Meghan let slip that her baby is set to turn up in April or May. She headed off on maternity leave quite recently and previous royal protocols around taking time out for baby would suggest that APRIL is the actual due date birth month.
There’s also been a LOT of unconfirmed speculation that Meghan might even deliver twins. This is mostly due to the size of her bump – it’s considered to be quite a generous size – and the fact that women who fall pregnant during later part of their childbearing years are more likely to conceive twins. Meg is 37.
Whatever the story – singleton or twins, boy and/or girl – here’s hoping that everything goes brilliantly for this lovely and loved-up couple.
