Amy Schumer’s baby is due any second now, and she’s just reminded fans that she’s still pregnant and spilled a BIG detail … whether she’s expecting a boy or a girl!

“I hate Mondays”

Comedian Amy Schumer is still expecting her first child with hubby Chris Fischer. Amy’s condition is made all the more challenging because she’s suffering the pregnancy illness hyperemesis gravidarum (HG).

It’s the same condition Duchess Kate suffered from during her pregnancies and for Amy, it’s meant legitimately throwing up around 1,000 times during her pregnancy. Ugh.

Hey! We love @chancetherapper and hate to be the ones to tell him that Wendys is the only fast food chain refusing to protect farmworker women from sexual assault and rape in the fields. This is true. Please read that sentence again. Message for the people in charge: Instead of spicy nuggets, we want food that is harvested with dignity NOT violence. Please join the @fairfoodprogram and #BoycottWendys link in my bio of how you can help. Also we are having a boy. ?

Over the weekend Amy popped up on Instagram with a couple of pregnancy updates, confirming that her baby was still firmly ensconced – and that she and Chris are expecting … a boy!

On the tail end of a passionate post suggesting fans (and Chance the Rapper, who had a hankering for spicy nuggets) take a closer look at fast food chain Wendy’s ethics, she slipped in “also we are having a boy.”

“Imagine how I feel”

In a previous post showing Amy wearing an “I hate Mondays” t-shirt pulled up over her impressive belly, she addressed her very long pregnancy head on.

“Oh yeah does it feel to everyone like I’ve been pregnant for a long time? It must be getting annoying to you all that I’m still pregnant. Well imagine how I feel mother f*ckers!!!!!”

Some celebrity followers admitted they were feeling a little Groundhog Day when it came to this pregnancy, but it was in the most supportive way. Others left encouraging comments complimenting the photo and willing Amy on.

“Omg! I saw this and literally thought ‘are you STILL pregnant?’ Ha! It’ll be over soon, and believe me you’ll miss these days,” Top Chef’s Padma Laskhmi wrote.

“Hang in there gurl,” actor and mum-of-three Jessica Alba urged.

“This pic is so dope. Also your hospital gown looks like a tutu,” Parenthood star Erika Christensen agreed.

“That under boob tho,” was Demi Lovato’s response.

“Look at that gorgeous belly.” Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants alum Amber Tamblyn posted.

And – hilariously – “I fell ya girl,’ was Lindsay Lohan’s comment under this pic. People immediately went in on Lindsay Lohan because she has not had a baby. But perhaps she meant she hates Mondays too?

For Bravo honcho Andy Cohen, the location of a second update was more cause for excitement than the baby sex reveal.

“Omg we go to the same paediatrician,” dad-of-one Andy posted.

“Still pregnant and puking”

Last week Amy posted a similarly complex post on Insta. At first glance, it’s a funny, gossipy update. But really it’s an update to raise awareness of the disparity in research when it comes to medical conditions suffered by women.

“Amy Schumer And Chris Fischer set pulses racing while the heavily pregnant Schumer flaunts her growing bump,” Amy wrote.

“Amy is still pregnant and puking because money rarely goes to medical studies for women such as hyperemesis or endometriosis,” noting that there was plenty of money thrown at helping those with erectile dysfunction and similar.

“Can I be your midwife?” a bump-struck Anna Faris commented on this post.

“Very important message for the people,” endometriosis sufferer Lena Dunham agreed.
