Teresa Palmer and Mark Webber’s very sweetly named baby has arrived
Teresa Palmer and Mark Webber have just welcomed a third little person to their family – and everyone is delighted!
Three is the magic number!
Teresa Palmer and Mark Webber announced their third pregnancy with a cute family dance-off video. They’ve now shared that sweet baby’s arrival on Instagram and she’s adorable.
“Our beautiful little girl Poet Lake Palmer arrived Friday night on April 12th. She is pure magic, we feel like we are in a dream,” an obviously elated Teresa posted on her Instagram account.
Poet’s not only making her Instagram debut, but she’s making her flower crown debut for the first time. No Bonds onesies here, mums and dads. Young Poet – a much hoped-for baby girl, no doubt – joins her brothers four-year-old Bodhi and almost two-year-old Forest, dressed in an ochre singlet and pretty floral bloomers.
A whispered poem
Poet’s daddy Mark Webber celebrated his little girl’s arrival with a fresh tattoo of her name and an actual poem, whispered in her ear. A photo he shared shows a little skin-to-skin contact between this little sweetie and her dad, and it’s clear that everyone is besotted.
“I whispered her a poem as soon as she was born,” third-time daddy Mark posted on Instagram. “Our beautiful baby girl Poet Lake Palmer has arrived. We’re all in total bliss…”
Wee Poet arrived in the 40th week of Teresa’s pregnancy, after some dedicated labour-sparking prep in the form of dancing, bumpy bike rides, tea and natural cervix ripeners.
“I started having two tea bags a day of red raspberry leaf tea,” Teresa wrote on her blog back in April, “plus pricking a hole in the evening primrose oil capsules (1000mg) and placing it as high up to my cervix as possible to help create a favourable labour environment!”
“I’ve also been taking my Christopher’s Original Birth Prep Capsules and had my second chiropractic session. Next week, I’ll begin acupuncture and diffusing clary sage oil, plus I’ll up my red raspberry leaf tea! It’s getting so exciting and I just can’t believe it’ll all be going down so soon.”
First comes Twitter …
Teresa and actor-director husband Mark got married in 2013. They got together after beginning to chat on Twitter in 2012.
“We began talking through Twitter,” Teresa told News.com.au. “I tweeted about a trailer for a movie he directed and then he started following me and I started following him. He said, ‘You’re a vegan, I am a vegan, you are into spirituality, I am into spirituality, do you mind if I start emailing with you?’ And I said, ‘I would love that.’”
The pair emailed for a while before meeting face-to-face.
“We chose not to speak on the phone because we wanted to hear each other’s voice for the first time when we were looking at one another. We fell in love with each other’s spirits as opposed to anything physical,” Teresa said.
Next thing they got married and began building a family of sweet little babies, with Poet the latest in their brood. Welcome to the world, wee Poet!
