Singer Ricky Martin welcomes a fourth child to the family
Superstar singer Ricky Martin and his husband Jwan Yosef have baby news, with the couple’s fourth child arriving recently.
Welcome baby Renn!
Ricky announced the news earlier this week, sharing a photo of his new baby boy.
“Our son Renn Martin-Yosef was born,” he captioned the shot, adding the adorable hashtag #TheBabyIsBorn
Baby Renn was clearly keenly awaited by his siblings, 10-month-old Lucia and 11-year-old twins Matteo and Valentino.
Fans and friends were delighted by this lovely baby news and took to the comments of Instagram to congratulate the couple.

“I love big families”
Renn’s arrival is a lovely surprise for Ricky fans, because he only announced he and Jwan were expecting last month. As he accepted an award for his LGBQTI advocacy in Washington DC with family in tow, the beloved and very handsome singer revealed his gang was set to grow.
“My family’s here,” a clearly emotional Ricky began, noting that baby Lucia was at home but the light of his life.
“My husband Jwan, I love you, my beautiful twins, Valentino and Matteo, they’re also here, I love you with all my heart, you’re my strength, you inspire me every day, you motivate me to keep doing what I’m doing and you guys are amazing kids. You guys are amazing. I love you.”
“By the way, I have to announce that we are pregnant. We are waiting. I love big families.”
Bring on the babies
A month or so later and that family is officially big, with tiny Renn making it a significant headcount of six.
Ricky and Jwan apparently don’t plan to stop at four kids. Nu-uh.
“I want four more pairs of twins. I would love to have a big family, but there’s a lot going on at this moment, a lot of work,” Ricky was quoted as saying back in January.
“It’s a lot going on so we’re going to put things in order first and then we are going to get ready for many more kids.”
They seem keen to take a leaf out of Kanye West’s book – and perhaps even surpass his plans?
The Jesus Is King recording artist has made no secret of his plans to have SEVEN children, although his wife Kim Kardashian West is not sold on the idea and thinks their family is complete.
