How awesome are these NICU nurses? They are going about their important tasks while babywearing the bubs they care for when their parents aren’t able to.

Nurses ROCK

The photos, shared by Kangatraining Australia show the hardworking nurses in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NCIU) in Germany doing what they do best – loving and caring for needy babies.

As any babywearing mama, or dad, will know, all babies love to be held close and carried, with the movement soothing them and often putting them to sleep.

Premmie bubs are shown extra love

The photos are heartwarming and a reminder that nurses may actually be angels on earth.

Any parent who has had a baby born prematurely or a little one who has had to stay in the NICU unit will be particularly moved by the images.

As one post commentator put it:

“Love this! This was my biggest stress and concern when my baby was in the NICU. I couldn’t tell you how many times I told my husband one of us needed to be there because I just knew he needed to be snuggled and touched. NICU nurses are the most amazing humans ♥️”

Amazing humans, indeed

The photos show the caring nurses going about their day with a teeny bub nestled into them – getting medicine, supplies and sitting at a computer.

It’s multitasking, with one of the roles they are filling being an all-important one to their tiny patients, and the loving parents who can’t be at the hospital 24/7.

“This is beautiful. After having Elliot in NICU for so long and far away, seeing this is just amazing! So thoughtful, the guilt I had leaving him was heartbreaking. What a lovely idea,” shared one mum.

“So sweet!! My little peanut born at 32 weeks!! He’s finally home after a long two months!!! They gave my little boy a lot of love and cuddles when I couldn’t be there! Forever grateful for those nurses who took special care of him! 💙♥️” gushed another.

Then this mum shared an adorable pic of her bubba in NICU smiling for the first time and thanking all the wonderful nurses for their care of him, and our hearts melted all over again.
