“How I could possibly love anything this much?” – Sam Wood’s BIG new dad feels
Sam Wood’s just shared some sweet thoughts on being a dad to three girls explaining the steep-yet-brilliant learning curve parenthood has been.

Former The Bachelor Sam is step-dad to wife Snezana’s 14-year-old daughter Eve, dad to two-year-old Willow and freshly minted (again!) dad to six-day-old Charlie.
“Another beautiful little girl to drive Daddy crazy. Charlie Lane Wood you are a little drop from heaven,” Snez posted on Instagram, announcing she’d given birth.
She’s not wrong about the heaven bit and her daddy obviously totally agrees.
Reflecting on Charlie’s birth he admits that while friends had told him parenthood would change him, he couldn’t believe how instant – and big – the transformation was.
“From experiencing the birth and literally crying for hours as I couldn’t believe the miracle I had just witnessed and how I could possibly love anything this much,” he writes in an emotional piece for 9Honey.
Sharing a little more about how he became an instant doting dad to Eve, and then began growing his family with Snez, Sam notes that being present has taken on a whole new meaning.
“You don’t get a second chance to see a first anything,” he points out, noting that first words and first steps are irreplaceable rites of passage and he wants to witness it all.
“A new-found appreciation of love”
Sam also revealed that he’s reflected more on himself since his The Bachelor journey ended in love, a wedding and three gorgeous kids.
He’s now more focused than ever on walking the walk – not just talking the talk – and showing his kids the best version of himself.
Sam notes that becoming a dad has enriched his life, given it deeper meaning and switched on feelings he didn’t know he had.
He’s developed “a new-found appreciation of love, an unfamiliar thirst to evolve and improve and a discovery of emotions and ideas that I honestly don’t feel I would have experienced without being a father.”
