Did you know that Hilary Duff and her boyfriend Matthew Koma just welcomed a baby girl to their family? It’s true and the other thing that’s true is that … she’s completely adorable!
“Leaving her never”
The pair named their wee daughter Banks Violet Bair and she’s nine-days-old at the moment.
It’s clear that makes exactly nine days that Matt and Hilary have been utterly besotted with their newborn, as their recent social media shares make very clear.

It’s also clear that Ms Lizzy McGuire may have been a little bruised when she met Matthew. But things switched from “date” to “mate” pretty speedily according to his recent update.
“She said she didn’t want a serious boyfriend LOL” Matthew captioned a (shirtless) shot of himself cuddling a swaddled baby Banks.
“Leaving her never. See you in 2025,” another similar image uploaded by the brand new dad read.
Hearts officially stolen!
Hilary’s similarly enamoured with the sweet little person she gave birth to at home late last month.
“This little bit has fully stolen our hearts! She joined our world at home on Thursday afternoon and is absolute magic,” she posted a couple of days after Banks’ birth.
The Younger star was already mum to six-year-old Luca with former husband Mike Comrie – and aunty to sister Haylie’s two young children – so she’s had a lot more practice than partner Matthew.
That said there’s often no escaping the blissful baby bubble that rolls out in those very early days when babies smell delicious and spend quite a bit of time sleeping (and pretending they will continue to do so!)
“The best feeling in the world”
Hilary’s deep in this snuggly time and obviously loving the heck out of it. She’s not the only one, it must be said, because her followers are really into newborn Banks – and newborns in general.
“She’s the most precious!” one declared. “Little girls definitely love the cuddling more. I couldn’t put my daughter down and still can’t. All she wants is mama cuddles at bedtime.”
FWIW, little boys love cuddles too!
“That’s the best time when they are so little,” another follower posted. “My favourite time.”
“So precious,” someone else swooned. “That is the best feeling in the world.”
And gosh isn’t it?! #Swoon
