Younger star Hilary Duff is pregnant with her second child and she’s been very quickly reminded of the slog that growing humans can be.

Incoming!

Hilary spilled the pregnancy beans last month and fans were delighted. In fact, they hoped she’d name her baby girl Lizzie already – after her much beloved former role as Lizzie Mcguire.

Hil’s boyfriend, Matthew Koma, is the baby daddy and the pair are over the moon about their incoming baby girl, sharing exciting updates on social media. (Hilary’s already mum to seven-year-old Luca with former husband, Mike Comrie.)

“Guess what guys! @matthewkoma and I made a little princess of our own and we couldn’t be more excited!!!!!” a delighted Hilary told followers back then and Matthew did the same.

That said, not all the bits of pregnancy are super fun times. For starters, there’s the carrying an eventual basketball sized small person inside your own body. Add to that fatigue, hormonal shifts, aches and pains annnnnd … You get the picture.

Real talk with Hilary

So amidst the excited posts, Hilary took the time to share some real talk about how her journey to baby number two is progressing – and offer a supportive shout out to other women.

“The boobs are big the belly is big the body is big. Man … pregnancy is hard,” she wrote on Instagram. “Giving love to all mamas who make it look effortless … this journey is hard as hell and also incredibly special.”

“Lovely to have a little life inside and to day dream of all the new adventures to come buuuut almost impossible to get my own shoes on … sick of getting up 9 times a night to pee and looking at this weird body in the mirror that is not my own at the moment.”

“Women are so bad ass, this was just a note to remind myself and remind others how strong and beautiful you are! WE GOT THIS!”

“We got this!”

Other mums piped up in solidarity, noting that Hilary had described their own pregnancy feels pretty perfectly.

“Due November 10th! You just put into words what I felt when I found out we were preggers at the same time! Good luck to all you ladies! We got this!” one posted.

“Exactly!!!! Currently 14 weeks with my 3rd baby boy! And getting up to pee CAN IT STOP ALREADY,” another concurred.

“Amen sister! I’m 31 weeks into my first pregnancy and it is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. It is a blessing and I can’t wait to meet my little man. I also can’t wait to have my body back,” someone else commented.

We look very much forward to further updates on this Hilary baby situation! A couple more months should do it!
