Fifi Box is baby-spamming Instagram like a boss – and it’s lovely
The Project panellist Fifi Box welcomed her second child in late June and it’s fair to say that life has never been better for the high-profile mum.
“I’ve completely forgotten how to do this!”
Since then she’s been bombarding Instagram with baby photos and sharing glimpses of what life’s like as a family of three.
Fifi’s already mum to five-year-old daughter Trixie who is relishing her new role as big sister to newborn Daisy Belle.
“Welcome to the world our beautiful little sweetheart Daisy Belle Box!! ” Fifi said announcing Daisy’s birth.
“And just like that our perfect little family became a whole lot ‘perfecter’. Trixie and I are so hopelessly in love with Daisy. We can’t wait to build our future with her, I am the luckiest mumma to be blessed with these two precious angels.”
As this sweet family find their new normal, Fifi’s battling with the usual new mum adjustments.
“I’ve never looked more tired … I’ve never been so happy,” Fifi posted alongside a photo on Instagram yesterday.
“First time out of the hospital into the big wide world, with an over protective sister looking after her,” she captioned another photo of Daisy in her baby capsule.
“What a beautiful moment!” The Project co-panellist Lisa Wilkinson commented on that shot. “I always remember with my first one feeling like, ‘What the heck are you doing trusting ME with this completely vulnerable little person???’ PS. And don’t you worry … you two have totally got this!”
“I know,” Fifi replied. “It’s only been 6 years but I’ve completely forgotten how to do this! Daisy is so precious and vulnerable it’s heartbreaking. We just love her so much. I can’t wait for you to meet her!!”
In other photos, Fifi thanked her OB, Dr Vicki Woodward and the staff at Melbourne’s Frances Perry House.
Daisy’s now a tick over a week old and that was a brilliant excuse to post even more photos of her with her big sis.
“One week old today. Daisy Belle,” Fifi posted beside a cute shot of her daughters.
“It’s exhausting being a big sister,” she captioned another showing both girls fast asleep.
Obviously, Trixie’s working very hard at that important job!
