Peppa Pig is MUCH bigger than you’d imagine and it’s kind of terrifying

Twitter has erupted with chatter about Peppa Pig’s proportions and not going to lie she truly is a whopper of a piggy.

“She’d knock you out”

“This is terrifying,” Twitter user Memeulous‏ posted alongside a screengrab showing the results of a “Peppa Pig height” Google search.  Apparently, Peppa is listed as being 7′ 1″ tall (about 2.15 metres) and we don’t know what to think.

Twitter promptly went nuts about this popular pig’s quite incredible stature.

“How big is Daddy Pig then?” one tweeter wondered, obviously quite shook.

“She’d knock you out,” another wrote and honestly they’re not wrong.

Peppa Pig Is Now Peppa Big,” someone else punned weakly.

“Shaquille O’Neal and Peppa Pig are the same height at 7’1″,” one commenter observed.

“Due to height and fame, Peppa Pig has been recruited by the Kardashians to be Khloé’s next love interest,” another Twitter user quipped.

They’re planning something

Others noted that lots of children’s characters seem to be quite disproportionately built. i.e. ridiculously large. Perhaps they’re planning to turn on us once they’ve lulled us into a false sense of security? It’s hard to know.

“Everyone is talking about Peppa Pig’s height, but is no one concerned with the fact that Caillou is 4 years old and 5’ 11”?” one worried tweeter despaired.

Someone else noted that Clifford the Big Red Dog was cause for worry.

“Y’all worrying about Peppa Pig’s height while not even paying attention to George Pig,” someone else pointed out. George’s height is listed as 8′ 11″.

Others pointed to an old Time magazine article revealing how tall the Teletubbies stand.

“Though onscreen the Fab Four appear to be a baby-friendly size, in ‘person’ they are gargantuan, bigger than Barney, bigger even than Big Bird. Po, the smallest, is 6 ft. 6 in., while Tinky Winky looms around 10 ft. tall.”

Tinky Winky is ten feet tall. Let that sink in for a minute. Gulp.
