Perhaps you already know that model and body positivity advocate Ashley Graham and her husband Justin Ervin welcomed a baby a titch over a month ago?

Welcoming baby Isaac

Tiny Isaac Menelik Giovanni Ervin is the couple’s first child and he’s a cute-as-a-button one at that!

Isaac was born on 18 January with his parents naturally extremely delighted to meet him.

Since then Ashley’s been documenting her new mum journey in characteristically authentic style, sharing glimpses of her days with her 10 million social media followers.

A ‘mirror selfie’ shared yesterday has particularly pleased fans, due to its realistic portrayal of Ashley’s postpartum body. Eschewing filters, Photoshop and tricksy angles this photo was all about realism – and an excellent collection of stretch marks.

“Same me, few new stories,” the new mum captioned the image.

A life well travelled

Ashley’s followers had plenty of positive things to say about her update.

“Life lines. Sooo worth the journey right?” one wrote.

“Beautiful. Love seeing this! I’ve got none on my tummy yet but getting some new tiger stripes on my hips and booty,” another follower wrote.

“Such a beautiful map of a life well travelled!” someone else commented.

“The best love story ever! Growing your firstborn miracle,” another fan posted under Ashely’s photo.

It’s the latest in a series of similarly candid shots detailing how these early weeks are panning out for the popular personality.

Among the images shared was a very relatable mum and son coffee/boob date. (below)

And there have also been frank discussions about postpartum recovery …

“Raise your hand if you didn’t know you’d be changing your own diapers too,” she wrote in another update, this time from her bathroom.

“After all these years in fashion I never could’ve guessed that disposable underwear would be my favorite piece of clothing but here we are! No one talks about the recovery and healing (yes even the messy parts) new moms go through. I wanted to show you guys that it’s not all rainbows and butterflies!”

So great to see a beautiful and realistic view of new parenthood. Thanks Ashley!
