Alanis Morissette’s brand new baby is ridiculously gorgeous
Alanis Morissette surprised fans earlier this year with an unexpected baby bump reveal.

It was back in March that she casually posted a photo of herself at the microphone, growing belly the clear focus of the shot.
“So much NEWness,” she wrote beside that image.
Fans were delighted to hear that she and her hubby Mario ‘Souleye’ Treadway had another little one on the way.
The couple were already parents to an eight-year-old boy named Ever Imre and a three-year-old daughter called Onyx Solace, so it’s fair to say that they’ve had plenty of practice at parenting.
On August 8th they added a third tiny person to their gang. Winter Mercy joined the family. The little boy is as gorgeous as his lovely name and was born at home, according to his daddy.

“He’s here,” Mario posted on Instagram. “Winter Mercy Morissette-Treadway.”
“Alanis, you will forever be my heroine. Thank you for your warrior strength and ability to so deeply love. #ForeverinAwe #3homebirths #nowords”
“A magical day indeed”
Followers were also delighted at this adorable turn of events.
“The most perfect babe I ever did see. Congratulations Alanis,” one wrote.
“May he live his life in love, joy, health and compassion,” another excited fan wrote. “Congratulations darling. So happy for you.”
“Awww! 8/8! A magical day indeed,” someone else pointed out.
Alanis and Mario wed back in May of 2010. Their first child arrived on Christmas Day of the same year and daughter Onyx followed in 2016.
Alanis has been open about the challenges of having babies, explaining that chronic postnatal depression made recovering from her births and parenting her babies very, very tough.
“There are days I’m debilitated to the point where I can barely move,” she said in a 2017 interview.
“As a kid, I imagined having children and being with an amazing partner. This is a whole other wrench I didn’t anticipate.”
