Blake Lively has revealed she co-sleeps with her girls in the weirdest place
When mum-of-three, Blake Lively shared her daily routine with Vanity Fair, it turned out she’s just as hit-and-miss with parenting as the rest of us!
Parents of three
Blake and fellow actor Ryan Reynolds are parents to three daughters. Their names are James, Inez and Betty.
Blake participated in a sort of ‘day in the life’ video series for Vanity Fair and her reveals on family life were pretty relatable — even though her day involves shooting a feature film.
“I woke up at 5 am, but mostly because I was doing momma duty with my girls,” Blake begins in the clip.
“[I] Have breakfast with them, hang out with them, work out with them. Cause I didn’t want to to wake up any earlier. I’m not Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. I had to just get some sleep.”
Just as an aside, 5am sounds pretty early to us, Blake!
“They don’t ever go to sleep”
Blake’s daughters – who were five, three and approximately 5 months old at the time – loved to torture their parents.
“They don’t ever go to sleep, honestly. We gotta invent something,” she said of her eldest daughters who are routinely awake at 9pm.
The former Gossip Girl star went on to explain that most evenings she eventually flaked out … in her kids’ playpen after dutifully singing them to sleep.
“Usually I’d fall asleep in there,” she confirmed in the Vanity Fair video.
“Almost every single night I’d fall asleep in there. And then my husband would usually come in and be like ‘Hey, you’re safe now. You can come to bed.’ “
“It’s pretty crazy”
This high profile mum also spoke about the big leap from having two kids to sizing up to three.
“We have so many children. It’s pretty crazy,” she admitted, noting the jump was like going from two kids to 3000.
“We’re outnumbered. It’s a lot. People say that from two to three, it’s the same, it’s kind of easy. Those people do not have three kids. It is crazy.”
