Actor Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds (also an actor) are now parents to three little girls and the former Gossip Girl star reveals switching things up from two to three has been … A LOT!

Letting some details slip

The pair are mum and dad to 3-year-old Inez and 5-year-old James, with daughter number three born in October last year. We’re not sure of the new baby’s name at this point.

It’s fair to say that this couple are usually fairly tight-lipped about their kids. BUT when they release a new movie they are inevitably quizzed about the girls and they often let a few details slip to placate the press and reward curious fans.

Blake’s latest film, action flick The Rhythm Section, is slated for release tomorrow, so she’s doing the interview rounds. Earlier this week Blake, who plays an assassin in this movie, appeared on Good Morning America to chat about the film.

She told the GMA hosts that welcoming a new baby to her gang late last year has been quite the big adjustment.

“We had 3 [kids] four and under,” Blake confirmed before tumbling out a series of thoughts on this sized up family …

“It’s like going from two to 3,000. [We] have so many children. It’s pretty crazy. We’re outnumbered. It’s a lot.”

“People say that from two to three, it’s the same, it’s kind of easy. Those people do not have three kids,” Blake laughed.

“It is crazy. But I’m here!”

Gave her right hand for her work

She is here, but it turns out she’s been carrying an injury thanks to one of the stunts she performed in The Rhythm Section.

“We were doing all of our own stunts,” Blake explained GMA. “Which is how I shattered my hand. We shut down for six months. My hand basically turned to feta cheese.”

“I was lunging towards [co-star] Jude Law with my fake rubber knife and my hand collided with his elbow and I broke some things, dislocated some things and severed a ligament.”

“It was pretty intense. But that’s why you guys have to see this movie, out of sheer guilt. I gave my right hand for something!”

Yeowch.

Here’s hoping it’s fully healed because looking after little ones with an injury is kinda crazy too.
