Hilaria and Alec Baldwin share exciting baby news after recent miscarriage
Hilaria and Alec Baldwin are parents to six-year-old Carmen, four-year-old Rafael, three-year-old Leonardo and one-year-old Romeo, and Alec’s also dad to a 23-year-old daughter, Ireland with former partner Kim Basinger.

The cat’s out of the bag!
Alec had recently hinted that another baby was on the way, and yesterday the couple confirmed that they were expecting baby number five.
In matching Instagram posts showing their baby’s robust heartbeat pounding strongly on a monitor, they made the official announcement.
While Alec’s excited update was short and sweet – “Well, I am delighted to say, ‘Uno mas Baldwinito.’ God is good.” – Hilaria’s was lengthy, cautious … and instructive.
It’s not hard to imagine why.
The couple lost a baby to miscarriage back in April, and are perhaps dealing with the anxious feelings a subsequent pregnancy can bring.
“It is still very early,” Hilaria wrote. “But we have learned that there is a little person inside of me.”
“The sound of this strong heart makes me so happy – especially because of the loss we experienced in the spring. We want to share this news as we are excited and don’t want to hide the pregnancy. These first few months are tough with exhaustion and nausea … and I don’t want to have to pretend that I feel ok.”
“My one request is that the media not send paparazzi to follow me or buy independent paparazzi photos, hence encouraging them. I want to remain peaceful during this very early time in my pregnancy and getting chased around by cameras is not in the doctor’s orders.”
Another photo saw Hilaria joking about her bump.
“When you’ve had so many babies, 6 minutes pregnant = looking like 6 months pregnant,” she wrote.
A little sister?
Prior to her miscarriage, Hilaria had revealed that daughter Carmen was very keen to have a baby sister.
“I have a daughter and then I have three boys,” Hilaria told Today last year.
“My daughter is very sure that she is going to have a sister … She does have a sister — she has Ireland, and Ireland is so wonderful and they have a great relationship. But there’s something about a little sister that she really wants.”
