“It’s in the oven?” – Hilaria and Alec Baldwin talk baby number FIVE
Alec and Hilaria Baldwin are parents to a whole bunch of children, and it appears they are once again planning to add to their significant brood.

“It’s in the oven?”
The couple have already got the adorable six-year-old Carmen, four-year-old Rafael, three-year-old Leonardo and one-year-old Romeo all living under their roof and making mischief. (Alec’s also dad to a 23-year-old daughter, Ireland with former partner Kim Basinger.)
But this week Alec’s popped up on chatty YouTube series Hiking with Kevin where he revealed that a fifth baby is definitely on the agenda very soon.
“We have four kids. She wants to have another one. We’re having another one,” Alec told host Kevin Nealon. “We’re gonna have a fifth baby.”
“It’s in the oven?” Kevin asks.
“No. No, no, no. Not that I know of,” Alec responds without much conviction.
A recent miscarriage
This family-growing chatter is good news, because this gang have been through some tough times recently.
Hilaria suffered a miscarriage back in April, sharing details with her Instagram followers as she dealt with the sad experience.
“So, this is what is going on now: the embryo has a heartbeat, but it isn’t strong, and the baby isn’t growing very much,” Hilaria wrote.
“So we wait – and this is hard. So much uncertainty … but the chances are very, very small that this is a viable pregnancy.
Another update revealed that they’d lost this much hoped-for baby.
“There was no heartbeat today at my scan,” she revealed in a subsequent post. “So it’s over.”
It seems that in the wake of their loss, this couple are ready to try for more kiddos, according to Alex, at least.
“There’s something about a little sister”
Last year – before she endured the miscarriage – Hilaria was also talking more bubs, explaining that young Carmen is absolutely busting for a little sister.
“I have a daughter and then I have three boys,” Hilaria noted in an interview with Today last year. “My daughter is very sure that she is going to have a sister.”
“She does have a sister — she has Ireland, and Ireland is so wonderful and they have a great relationship,” she added. “But there’s something about a little sister that she really wants.”
Fingers crossed this family has much happier times ahead – and realise their fifth kiddo dream.
