The Bachelor’s Laura Byrne flew to London with a baby happily pashing her face
The Bachelor’s Matty J and Laura Byrne welcomed their first child Marlie-Mae back in June and they’ve updated followers and fans on life as a family of three ever since.
Rookie flight
Laura is far from the vacant or bitchy stereotype that some assume The Bachelor spotlights. Instead she’s funny, clever and relatable … and always up for a sassy Insta caption.
“Packed my boobs. Wish us luck!” she just wrote on Instagram, revealing she and Matty were undertaking an amazing rookie parent feat – flying from Australia to London with their three-month-old bub.
Later sharing footage from the flight, Laura noted that she perhaps understood the transformation to parenthood a little better now that she was a few months in. And embarking on a very long flight.
“I don’t know why new mums struggle with losing their identity,” she joked alongside the clip of Marlie-Mae ardently sucking her face. “I don’t feel like a giant tit at all.”
“Hi Boobie!”
Laura’s followers went pretty nuts for Laura’s video, related to this smoochy-baby phenomenon and were even reminded of their own kiddos.
“Love it. If it makes you feel any better, recently when I walked into the room, my 2 year old looked up and said ‘hi Boobie,'” one wrote.
“That’s so cute… used to love when my babies did that,” another reminisced.
“That latch though,” someone else observed.
“Your captions are always so funny! Such a cutie patootie baby girl you have there,” a commenter posted.
“The aggressive kisses are my fave part!!!”
A slice of heaven
Marlie-Mae arrived back in June and her parents could not have been more thrilled to meet their slightly overdue little girl.
“Welcome to the world you divine little slice of human pudding,” Laura captioned a triumphant birth announcement on social media.
“Marlie-Mae Rose Johnson (named after our Nanas) you’re more than we could have ever hoped for. 19.6.19.”
“Still letting the last 24hrs sink in … they’ve been the most rewarding, loving and emotional I’ve ever experienced,” Matt posted on Insta shortly after his daughter’s arrival.
“[Laura] you did the most incredible job bringing our little girl Marlie-Mae Rose Johnson into the world. Becoming a Dad was better than I ever could have imagined.”
