An exhausted Hilary Duff reveals she spent the night in hospital with her baby
Younger and Lizzie McGuire star Hilary Duff and her fiancé Matthew Koma are parents to an eight-month-old daughter named Banks and Hilary’s older child, seven-year-old Luca.
No escaping it
Overnight we found out that Hilary’s very much like every other parent in a couple of significant ways.
Not only does she look forward to a decent show on the telly (and possibly a glass of wine) at the end of a rough day, she also can’t escape the absolute scary slog it is when one of her kids is unwell and the experts need to be called in.
Hilary revealed on her Instagram stories that Banks had been unwell enough to need hospital admission. She shared the aftermath noting that she was shattered and pretty much covered in puke. #poorthing
“I actually have Banks’ vomit in my hair and I may or may not have the energy to bathe after a day with a sick baby and a night at the hospital,” Hilary wrote across her Instagram story.
“All I want is to watch Handmaids ughhhhh,” she admitted.
Sick baby blues
We’re guessing if she’s had time to catch her breath, that Banks is on the mend, but golly those nights are incredibly difficult and the resulting exhaustion seems to last for days, doesn’t it?
A photo posted on Instagram gave another update noting she was “right home to a sick baby” the image showing her recovering baby dozing on her chest.
We’re not exactly sure why Banks was admitted to hospital, but we’re guessing a worrying amount of vomit was involved. Enough to get a second-time-mum worried enough to escalate her baby’s care.
Something in the water
Hilary’s not the first high profile mum to reveal they’ve bundled their baby off to hospital recently.
Kylie Jenner headed to emergency with her baby girl Stormi after the toddler suffered some kind of allergic reaction.
And Kylie’s big sister Kim Kardashian was in the A&E with her preschooler Saint a couple of months earlier, again for an allergic response.
We hope everyone is on the mend now.
Especially the very recently unwell Banks and her tired mama.
