This clip of Kate Hudson’s partner bonding with their newborn will melt you
Kate Hudson gave birth to her third child last week, the first for her musician partner Danny Fujikawa. While Kate’s obviously besotted with her newborn, there’s a special kind of love going on between the first-time dad and his littlie.
“Kind, beautiful man”
Sharing the clip of Danny bonding with baby Rani, Kate made her feelings for her baby daddy very clear.
“Kind beautiful man, your pure love is such a gift #daddysgirl,” she captioned the video of an enamoured Danny kissing and gazing at his new little girl. Kate’s followers could not get enough of this special moment – and the adorable snuffling cuteness that newborn Rani is.
“Oh my goodness this is the bestest I’ve ever seen. Congrats she is so beautiful,” one wrote.
“Such a beautiful moment with pure love,” another declared.
“The way he’s looking at her! Pure love,” someone else confirmed.
Others were keen to chat about the delights of newborn baby smell, the gruelling sleepless nights those early days herald, their OWN exploding ovaries – and also how Danny looks a lot like Keanu Reeves (true!)

“Well and happy”
Kate and Danny have been together for almost two years, but have been friends for over a decade. Their baby arrived on Tuesday 2 October and they named her Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa.
“We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa,” Kate revealed on Instagram, announcing the birth. “Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honour.”
“Everyone is doing well and happy as can be. Our family thanks you for all the love and blessings that have been sent our way and we send ours right back.”
We look forward to many more glimpses of this growing family as they get used to life with cute Rani in their ranks.
