Actor and activewear company CEO Kate Hudson is mum to three gorgeous kids.

“It is what it is”

She gave birth to a baby girl named Rani back in October and is also mum to two boys – eight-year-old Bingham with ex Matt Bellamy, and 15-year-old Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson.

Rani’s dad is Kate’s current partner Danny Fujikawa, and Kate says her growing brood are having the best time together.

“They all get along,” Kate said recently. “It’s funny and we laugh about it.”

“I never thought my life would look like that, but it is what it is. All I care about is happy kids, and we all make that the priority.”

Kate’s just written an essay for InStyle magazine (as has mum-of-two and fellow actor Halle Berry) detailing a little more about life with her gang of three.

“Three kids and eight InStyle covers later, things are really good,” Kate wrote.

“My life is a bit of a juggling act with kids in completely different stages of their lives — at 15, 8, and 7 months,” she admits, noting it’s also “challenging once you’re outnumbered.”

“Oh, be careful!”

She says that people flagged this outnumbering with her ahead of Rani’s birth … but she ignored it wholeheartedly.

“For some reason, when you have a third baby, people go, ‘Oh, be careful!,'” she writes.

“Of course, as usual, I didn’t heed the warning. I was like, ‘Yeah, whatever! I’m going in!'”

My loves of my life ☀️

With her first pregnancy in her mid-twenties and her most recent one at 39, Kate notes that her perspective has shifted dramatically as she’s grown up.

“At the time of my first pregnancy … I said, ‘I hope to be fashionably pregnant. I’m telling you right now, I’m absolutely not giving up my high heels.’ I was 24.”

“Fifteen years later, during this last pregnancy, I sure did!” she writes.

Sounds about right!
