Spot the difference! Ayda and Robbie Williams have just welcomed a new baby
Robbie and Ayda Field Williams have what is officially known as a very full house because they’ve just upped their headcount with another baby.
Welcome baby Beau!
The superstar singer and his actor wife were already parents to a bunch of children with very adorable nicknames.
Theodora ‘Teddy’ Rose is seven, Charlton ‘Charlie’ Valentine is five and Colette ‘Coco’ Josephine is one.
Now the couple’s three OG kids have just welcomed baby Beau Benedict Enthoven to their gang.
“Spot the difference,” Ayda wrote on Instagram on the weekend. “On this Valentine’s Day, we would like to celebrate love in the most awesome way … Beau Benedict Enthoven Williams!”
Ayda went on to explain that this baby had arrived thanks to a lot of help from a trusted second-time gestational carrier.
“As with Coco,” she wrote, “he is biologically ours, but born via our same incredible surrogate. We are so blessed to have our healthy son safely in our arms and are officially complete as a family.”
“A very long and difficult path”
The couple met in 2006 and went on to marry in 2010, waiting a couple of years before they began to have their (now quite large) family.
Speaking about Coco’s birth, Ayda implied they had tried other options before finally opting to use a gestational carrier.
“It has been a very long and difficult path to get here, which is why we have kept it on the down low,” Express UK reported after Coco’s surprise birth.
“Family comes in all forms, and this little lady, who is biologically ours, was carried by an incredible surrogate mother, to whom we will be eternally grateful.”
Pregnancy is not always possible
Robbie and Ayda are, of course, not the only celebrities to use a gestational carrier to fulfil their baby dreams.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West used two different gestational carriers to carry and deliver their youngest children, Chicago and Psalm.
They erred on the side of caution due to life-threatening complications in Kim’s first and second pregnancies/deliveries.
There’s been no official word on little Beau from dad-again Mr Williams, as yet.
