Jennifer Hawkins and Jake Wall welcome a beautiful baby girl
TV presenter and model Jennifer Hawkins has given birth to her first child, sharing this exciting news on Instagram overnight.
“Dream come true”
Jen is married to the equally attractive and talented Jake Wall, and the pair are clearly over the moon to have transformed into a family of three.
“Frankie Violet Hawkins Wall,” Jen captioned an album of first mum-and-baby photos.
“Dream come true! So thankful to be holding our beautiful healthy baby girl! We couldn’t be more in love.”
Jake posted a similarly elated update – “Welcome to the world Frankie Violet,” he wrote. “Our hearts are full.”
This newborn news is made especially sweet because this couple went through a very tough time last year.
They very sadly lost a much-hoped-for baby to miscarriage and after understandably feeling that their world had fallen apart, soon found themselves expecting again.
Jen spilled the beans back in May with a jubilant Instagram pregnancy announcement.
“I’m sooo happy to share with you some exciting news! Jake and I are expecting a baby girl!!! We can’t wait to meet her!” she wrote.
“Thank you to our beautiful family and friends for their love and support and, most importantly, to my hubby Jake – I can’t wait to see you as a Daddy!”
An equally chuffed Jake posted his own reveal declaring, “I’m going to be a dad! Can’t wait to meet our little girl!”
“Like no other feeling”
Come August, a clearly relieved Jen was speaking about how well she was feeling – and sharing more about her previous pregnancy.
“Just to see a bump is like no other feeling when you’ve wanted it for so long,” Jen told Stellar magazine.
“I don’t care if I put on weight or get stretch marks – the only thing I can think about is her being healthy.”
Now baby Frankie is here to make life much brighter and as Jen said it’s really a dream come true for this pair.
