Harry and Meghan just sent the cutest thank you notes to Archie’s well-wishers
Royal Mail is hitting letterboxes all over the globe as Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry thank well-wishers for the kindness and congratulations offered in the wake of their baby Archie’s christening.
Archie mail!
Meghan and Harry’s first child was born at 5:26 am on 6 May with Harry describing the tiny boy as “absolutely to die for”.
He was christened on 7 July in the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle and received congratulations from across the world – from famous and non famous types. It looks like the couple have just about caught up on sending out thank you cards in response to Archie’s mail, as they’ve just started popping up on Instagram.
Royal Mail collector LoopyCrown3 is one of the happy chaps on the receiving end of a note from Meg and Harry. He’s just alerted his followers to his special delivery via the Instagram account he uses to document his collection.
“New royal letter arrived yesterday from Kensington Palace,” he wrote, sharing several photos of this lovely card from Meg and Harry.
“Wonderful thank you postcard from TRH the Duke and Duchess of Sussex thanking me for sending my good wishes to Archie for his christening.”
The message on the card – which features on of the official family photographs from Archie’s big day – reads as follows:
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been overwhelmed by all the incredibly kind cards and letters they have received on the occasion of Archie’s Christening, and we are so touched that you took the trouble to write as you did.
It really was most thoughtful of you and greatly appreciated by Their Royal Highnesses who send you their very best wishes.
“Their very best wishes”
Prince Harry’s birthday is in less than two weeks (and you can bet he won’t be taking a flashy private jet anywhere after all the fuss around Meghan’s Nice birthday trip!)
They will, however, be heading to Africa on their first official trip with Archie on 22 September.
“In just a few weeks our family will be taking its first official tour to Africa, a region of the world that over the past two decades has been a second home to me,” Harry wrote on Instagram yesterday.
“Our team has helped create a meaningful programme that we’re so excited to share with you. On a personal note, I can’t wait to introduce my wife and son to South Africa! We’ll see all of you very soon.”
