Kate and William’s latest royal thank you card is adorable
In the most recent episode of our fictitious series Royal Thank You’s Exposed, Kate and William have surprised well-wishers with a very delightful card.
The adorable royal reply
Lots of letter-writers shared the card on the popular social media platform including Instagrammer LoopyCrown3. She received a card from William and Kate, as well as one from Harry and Meghan and was obviously delighted by the royal snail mail.
“Fantastic reply from the Cambridges thanking me for sending my Christmas and New Year wishes,” she posted.
The card features a lovely photo of the family of five mostly beaming following Louis’ christening. Only Prince George looks a little bit unsure/tired of saying “Cheese”.

A ‘normal’ family?
Royal watchers on Instagram responded to the royal reply with enthusiasm and … questions.
“I know they are real people but it looks like a picture a “normal” family would take. So beautiful!” one Instagrammer posted.
“The fact that we have two future Kings and a queen consort in this photograph amazes me,” another gushed.
“I too have received the reply and I’m surprised they didn’t use the photo released for Xmas,” another royal fan commented. “Is it normal that they use an old photo?”
A look at previous royal replies show that they often do choose from already-released photos possibly due to the huge volume of mail the royals receive – and the lead time needed to respond to them all in a timely manner.
