A man Emmy-body-shamed new mum Chrissy Teigen and she wasn’t having it
Chrissy Teigen had a baby four short months ago. Since then she’s spent time in Bali recovering from baby Miles’ birth. She’s released her own homewares line in collaboration with Target. And she’s days away from her second cookbook hitting the shelves. And that’s just for starters.
“Is Chrissy Teigen pregnant again?”
Apparently, however, she’s still falling short in the eyes of some fashion commentators.
In fact, one man took to Twitter to judge her newly postpartum body, as Chrissy and John appeared on the Emmys red carpet.
Expresser of questionable English, Lars Alexandersson is the man in question and he thought it a good idea to not only police Chrissy Teigen’s body, but also tag her as he did it.
“I’m asking this with the utmost respectful, but is @chrissyteigen pregnant again?” is what he posted.

Shut up, Lars
Lars! What even the actual eff?
Perhaps there is a language barrier at play here? Or perhaps there is a sensitivity barrier? A lobotomy barrier, perhaps?
Whatever the circumstances, as Chrissy managed a date night and enjoyed the Emmys with her hubby, she spotted the tweet and swiftly replied.
“I just had a baby but thank you for being soooo respectful,” she tweeted, in response to Lars’ utmost thickheaded query.

Chrissy was not the only one who had things to say to Mr Lars Alexanderssonofadork. Fans and people with brains had things to say, too.
“Please Google ‘utmost’ and ‘respect’,” someone posted.
“‘I’m asking this with the utmost respect’ means ‘I know I’m being an ass but I want to say it anyway. Please don’t hold me accountable’,” another follower wrote.
“Ooooh no. That’s not an out loud thing,” someone confirmed.
“Respect would have been you not even asking that, especially of someone you don’t know personally,” one tweeter pointed out.
“If you lead in with I am asking this with the utmost respect………STOP typing. Go get a snack,” someone else advised.
Yes, Lars. Go get a snack.
Maybe some delicious fried, stuffed chicken from Chrissy Teigen’s new cookbook, even?
