Here’s an exciting update on a great doll house we’ve had our eye on here at Babyology for some time now.
Lovely memories are evoked when I think of my daughter’s toddler bed. It was where lots of ‘firsts’ took place: the first book reading with me perched on the side, the first time she got out of bed by herself and the first time I knew for sure my baby was no longer a baby.

Picture a doll house. You can see it in your mind’s eye. The two-storey Victorian house with pink weatherboards, bay windows and tiled roof. Yes, that’s the one. Now think again. The 21st century doll house is here and it’s more architectural-designed home than pretend-play.
It would be nice to think my sons could decorate a cardboard treehouse as wonderfully as that one up there but I’m under no illusion they’re quite up to that skill level yet!
If I was Alice in Wonderland, I would drink the potion that made me shrink so I could live in this wonderful doll house.
I would hate to spend large sums of cash on a doll’s house only to have it played with for a couple of weeks and then abandoned. So why not buy a cardboard one that can be put out for recycling once your kids have had their fun?
