Parents deeply regret new baby monitor which reveals their child is a monster

Video baby monitors are brilliant because they give parents peace of mind at a glance, right? Well, not always.

They’re creepy and they’re kooky

Sometimes those helpful baby monitors stealthily capture dark arts and very secret baby business, as the parents in this story can attest.

It was Twitter user Passion Pop Socialist who revealed the downside of monitors as she shared the horrible happenings at her home this week.

She tweeted an eerie image of his baby monitor screen and it was quickly dubbed the most worrying thing on the internet.

“We got a new video baby monitor and I think that was a mistake,” the regretful and possibly trembling mum posted alongside the photo of her son.

They’re altogether spooky

Fair cop, too. The image shows her baby staring into the screen, eyes alive with an expression last seen in the director’s cut of The Exorcist.

Little did this mum know that when she kissed her baby goodnight with a gentle “Ni-nigh, darling” and shut the door,  something sinister was about to unfold.

Yep. As you can see her tiny boy morphed from sweet tot to … well … a very scary (albeit beautifully tucked-in) baby demon. Don’t you hate it when that happens?

You’re gonna need a priest

People on Twitter did not hate it. Instead, they were delighted by this update. They had lots of demon-busting advice.

“Your baby is possessed I’m sorry, you’ll have to return it to Babies-r-us,” one posted.

“Alexa, remind me to defeat the baby,” another quipped.

“Well your first mistake was having the baby. But there’s nothing we can do about it now. What you’ll need though is a young priest and an old priest,” someone else suggested.

When someone quizzed, “Is your baby baptized? If so, might want to try it again. First time clearly didn’t take.”

Passion Pop Socialist answered, “We did but it turned the water to blood, the priest started climbing up the walls, it was a whole thing.”

And honestly it truly IS hard to find a good priest these days.

Thoughts and prayers to this family.
