Babyology mums weigh in on Quit Nits head lice treatment

Posted in Parenting Essentials.

Most mums would agree, when it comes to head lice treatment, it’s best to go with the one that actually works. And, one of the easiest ways to determine what works is to see what other mums have to say. So we asked 14 Babyology mums to test out Quit Nits, a head lice treatment suitable for the entire family (including breastfeeding mums and mums-to-be).  What did our readers have to say about it? Come and have a look.

At Babyology we love bringing you products from around Australia that are not only cute and fun, but also helpful. This is why Quit Nits caught our eye.

Quit Nits has been one of Australia’s leading head lice brands for over 15 years and one of the reasons is because it is so easy to use. As the instructions explain, simply leave in overnight, rinse out the next morning and you’re done.

But can it really be that simple?

12 of our 14 mums agreed that the Quit Nits Complete Head Lice Kit product was either easy or very easy to use.  The kit comes with 200mls of Quit Nits One and 125mls of Quit Nits Defence Spray, as well as a disposable comb for optional combing. Each package also comes with a detangling spray which gently conditions and detangles while helping to defend against infestation.

But what about effectiveness? All 14 of our mums were either satisfied or very satisfied with the product with one commenting that not only was it effective but “pleasant smelling” and “easy to use” as well.

Most mums agreed that the product is great value for money and would most certainly recommend it to a friend.

Look for the white and orange packaging the next time you are in the chemist and keep a few in the cupboard. With the combination of the Quit Nits One and Quit Nits Defence Spray, you can not only effectively eliminate head lice from your household, but also prevent them from getting comfortable in the first place.

Sometimes mums know best! With an average rating of  8/10, Quit Nits may be just the addition to the cupboard that all parents need.

*Always read directions for use. If symptoms persist, see your healthcare practitioner for advice.
