Meghan and Harry share a gorgeous new photo showing baby Archie’s sweet face
It was Father’s Day in the UK on Sunday and as expected the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared a beautiful new photo of their six-week-old son, Archie.
Hello, baby!
The photo shows Prince Harry holding his little boy. Archie’s face is visible in the shot and he’s gripping his dad’s finger, too-big onesie sleeve rolled up.
Archie looks to be a beautiful mix of his mum and his dad, with features reminiscent of both. It’s the third glimpse of the youngest royal, with another to watch out for in around six weeks when it’s expected that his christening will take place.
The photo is in the same style as the one shared on Mother’s Day. A little misty, filtered and very Instagram-friendly.
“Happy Father’s Day! And wishing a very special first Father’s Day to The Duke of Sussex!” the pair captioned the shot.
Baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor arrived on 6 May 2019 and royal watchers have been super keen to find out more about the little guy ever since. Understandably this new photo has been received with much excitement by royal fans.
That comes as no surprise because it’s very freaking adorable!
Harry and Meghan were not the only royals celebrating Father’s Day on Sunday.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, aka Will and Kate, shared their own tribute to dad life – a photo of William with his youngest son Louis and one of him with his dad, Prince Charles. (Below)

Royal homecoming
And if you’ve been diligent enough to read to the bottom of this post, then you’re in for a delightful reward. Sight-seers at Kensington Palace have captured footage of Kate and William returning home from an engagement – via helicopter. The aircraft landed in the grounds beside their London home and as they strode across the grass, their children could be seen in the distance waiting to greet them.
The footage was shared by the Tea Time With The Cambridges Twitter account who captioned it – “The kids were waiting for William and Kate to return from Cumbria and you can kinda hear what I’m 99.9% sure is Charlotte giggling and saying ‘Mama.’”
If you’re trying to spot them, they’re in front of the red Mini in the vision below.
