“The first family we deserve!”
Somehow the magician photographer not only got everyone doing what they should for this photo, but both of the couple’s kids are looking right into the camera lens.
The only closed eyes in this shot are Chrissy’s and that’s only because she’s deliberately striking a loved-up pose with John.
The pair’s children – 17-month-old Miles and three-year-old Luna – are staring right down the barrel as their parents get cosy in the background – and the overall picture is … gorgeous!
The cover declares: “The first family we deserve! Chrissy Teigen and John Legend on love and defiance in the age of Trump” and it’s clear that the feature focuses on the pair’s political activism and Chrissy’s notorious battle with the President of the United States.
Trump initially blocked Chrissy on Twitter and then hit out at her calling her John’s “filthy-mouthed wife” and sparking a meme that just kept on giving.
In the VF piece, Chrissy suggests that Trump and co should be made to face the consequences of their actions.
“I think there needs to be jail time for him, for the whole family,” she said.
“I feel like he still gets away with everything if he gets out of his office. I know that his first tweet after he’s impeached will be, ‘I didn’t want to be there anyway.’”

A team effort
Chrissy and John also talked lots about the early months of their relationship, their friendship with Kanye West and how they balance family life with two ridiculously busy careers.
“I hate pretending that we do it on our own. We have daytime help, nighttime, weekend. I don’t know how my mom did it,” Chrissy admits.
