Oreo released two new flavours, but we aren’t so sure about these
Family-favourites Oreo cookies have come up with some new flavours for their world famous bikkies, but we’re not so sure about them …
Following in the footsteps of companies like Cadbury’s, who are mixing up their traditional recipes with some radical flavours (Dairy Milk Vegemite, anyone?), Mondelēz International, Oreo’s parent company have released details of the ‘innovation sensation’ on Twitter, announcing their new cookie flavours.
Yep, hot chicken wing and wasabi Oreos are a thing, at least in China, anyway. Would you be game to try one with a glass of milk?

The hot chicken wing Oreo is said to feature a bright orange centre while the wasabi flavour cookie has a bright green inside.
With Twitter users unsure whether this was a practical joke from Oreo, or a new, adventurous take on their original cookie, the popularity of the new flavours is yet to be tested.
For me, chicken and chocolate is a no-go zone. But is anyone else intrigued about wasabi and chocolate pairing? I reckon this would be an amazing finish to a big sushi dinner.
Unfortunately, it will be a while before I get to test this idea out … unless I plan a trip to China in the near future.
Guess I’ll have to wait and see if the new flavours take hold.
