Lego storage solved! The Makers Chest by Larscraft
We all know the frustration of scouring the house for our childrens’ lost Lego. We also know the pain and cursing that ensues as a result of stepping on the plastic bricks. There must be a way to save our kids and ourselves from these perpetual Lego calamities, right? Right!
Introducing the Makers Chest, a full-sized inventory chest for Lego, with a design inspired by that other thing kids love – Minecraft. Envisioned by an eight-year-old boy, and developed by Larscraft, the Makers Chest was born out of the indisputable need for an organised sorting system for Lego in all its forms. The box makes organisation fun, playtimes more productive, and the soles of our feet spared a run-in with a new release minifig.
The Makers Chest has been built kid-tough and is likened to an heirloom, able to take a battering and still look fantastic with its voxel graphics and clean sides. It has six removable trays with dividers, large play platform, gas lift opening and magnetic closure, taking Lego storage to a whole new level of amazing.
Larscraft is seeking bidders to see the Makers Chest through to production, head over to Kickstarter to show your support. Pledges start at US$5 with US$425 getting you the Makers Chest Elite Edition Fully Loaded. Can’t get enough Lego? Check out our archives for the latest Lego news.
