Alohomora! Harry Potter star, Rupert Grint has just become a dad
In breaking Harry Potter news, Rupert Grint (no longer the teenage boy we all remember him as, but now a fully grown 31-year-old man) and his partner, British actor Georgia Groome have welcomed a baby girl!
It’s the first child for the pair who have been together since 2011. The baby girl was born on 6th May, with their publicist confirming the happy news a day later.

On May 1 Georgia posted a cute pic of herself and expressed support for the, “amazing carers and NHS workers who are currently holding the UK together”.

Georgia has shared on social media that she keeps a beehive, and has featured in the horror flick, Double Date.

In 2018 Rupert publicly expressed his wish to become a dad in an interview with The Guardian, saying, “I’d like to settle down and have kids soon. If I had a son, would I call him Ron? It’s quite a good name, but probably not. And Grint’s a tough name to pair a one-syllable first name with.”
