If like me you have a little one starting school in a few weeks but he’s still too young to know how to tie his own shoelaces, then ALDI has come to the rescue!
Right now they have easy-to-put-on (and take off) velcro school shoes, but like anything with ALDI, you better be quick.
Until stocks last
The school shoes are part of their ‘back to school’ buys which are on shelves now (or should I say, plonked in a big basket in the centre aisle), and are only going to be there “until stocks” last.
This clearly translates to, “Until we have sold out and our customers are left feeling disappointed that they rushed down to the store to buy shoes but at least we were able to sell them some milk.”
Bargain school shoes
The shiny and stylish school lace-ups, Mary Janes or ‘double straps’ — that’s velcro straps to you and I — are just $14.99 a pair. They feature a leather upper, slip-resistant outsoles and dual-fit insoles.
The Mary Jane style comes in sizes 11 to 4. The lace-ups come in sizes 12 to 4 and the velcro strap in sizes 11 to 1.
These shoes are just perfect for littlies heading back to school, or even off to school for the very first time!
And some ‘Airflex’ styles too
ALDI also have some premium school shoes for kids who need a little more support. These leather styles feature Airflex Impact Cushion Technology. This means they have an impact reducing cushion in the heel of the shoe. These come in sizes 1 to 5 and are a pricier $59.99.
There’s also a Mary Jane style in ALDI’s Airflex range. Again they have a leather upper, but this style also features a hook and loop closure to make them easy to put on and take off. They’re available in size 11 to 2.
But there’s more!
Oh, and if you are lucky enough to pile up with ALDI shoe boxes in sizes for future years to come, then also check out the other back to school stuff, including lunchboxes, markers, school bags, socks and more!
Look at these gorgeous bento boxes. They’re a snap at $12.00 a pop.
And these cool insulated lunch bags are brilliant too. They’re just $7.99.
Good luck fellow ALDI shopper, and may you not be disappointed by “while stocks last” …
