If you sent Prince George a birthday card, Kate and William sent you THIS back

Future King of England Prince George celebrated his fifth birthday on 22 July and royal fans who sent him birthday congratulations have been rewarded with a sweet response.

“As you did”

We tipped Babyology readers off to this brilliant phenomenon after Princess Charlotte fans began sharing their Royal Mail on social media.

Enthusiastic George fans were treated to the same brilliant response when they sent the little prince a birthday card earlier this year.

We know this because details of a fresh batch of thank you notes from Kensington Palace featuring the official birthday portrait of George have been trickling on to social media over the last couple of weeks.

A grinning George is seen on the front of the card, and within is the following text:

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge thank you for writing as you did to Prince George on the occasion of his fifth birthday. This was most thoughtful of you and greatly appreciated.”

A little bit of digging shows there’s a multitude of royal replies circulating – and lots of happy royal fans.

Here’s one Kensington Palace sent to people who congratulated Prince Louis on his baptism:

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were touched that you took the trouble to write on the occasion of the baptism of their son, Prince Louis. Their royal highnesses are so grateful for all the wonderful messages they have received and send you their warmest thanks and best wishes.”

And the one sent after Louis’ birth:

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were very touched that you took the trouble to write as you did on the birth of their son, Prince Louis. Their Royal Highnesses are most grateful for the wonderful messages they have received and send you their warmest thanks and best wishes.”

Here’s the one they trotted out after Meghan and Harry’s wedding:

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been overwhelmed by all the incredibly kind cards and letters they have received on the occasion of their Wedding, and are so touched that you took the time to write, as you did.”

And here’s one from Meghan’s birthday last month:

“The Duchess of Sussex is so touched you took the trouble to write as you did on the occasion of her 37th birthday. It really was most thoughtful of you and Her Royal Highness sends you her most heartfelt thanks and best wishes.”

It’s clear that the royal family are very grateful for any kind correspondence and are keen to reward it with earnest thank you notes.

Dzisiaj o tym jak napisać do Rodziny z Cambridge, do której, jak wiecie albo nie wiecie, zaliczamy Williama, Kate, George’a, Charlotte i Louisa❤ Jeżeli chcemy napisać do Księcia Williama, zwracamy się do niego HRH The Duke of Cambridge, Duke Wilhelm, Duke William albo po prostu William. Na kopertę wybieramy wersję pierwszą. Jeżeli chcemy napisać do Księżnej Kate, zwracamy się do niej HRH The Duchess of Cambridge, Duchess Catherine albo po prostu Kate. Koszt takiego listu to koszt kartki, koperty i znaczku zagranicznego w cenie 5 zł. Nie ma znaczenia czy napiszecie list ręcznie czy wydrukujecie. I teraz najważniejsze – adres: Clarence House London SW1A 1BA Great Britain Ważne daty: ✔9 stycznia – urodziny Kate ✔23 kwietnia – urodziny Louisa ✔29 kwietnia – rocznica ślubu Williama i Kate ✔2 maja – urodziny Charlotte ✔21 czerwca – urodziny Williama ✔22 lipca – urodziny George’a #royalletters #britishmonarchy #familyofcambridge #kate #william #george #charlotte #louis #kensingtonpalace #jaknapisaćdorodzinykrólewskiej
