It’s the Friday boost you didn’t know was waiting around the corner. Chris Hemsworth dancing to Wrecking Ball in his lounge room, surrounded by appreciative kids and a total fanboy dog! Honestly, it’s as good as you think it’s going to be.

“Never work with kids or animals”

Chris and actor Elsa Pataky have three kids together – five-year-old India and three-year-old twin boys, Sasha and Tristan. The pair juggle parenting with very busy and successful screen careers, and on this particular night Chris appears to be in charge. *coughs*

“What started as a ground breaking music video ended in a savage attack by a cowardly K9,” Chris explained on his Instagram account, alongside the clip. “Never work with kids or animals. #wreckingball#wreckingdog #daddydaycare#murderonthedancefloor

Pro dad or no dad?

There are at least four notable things going on in this short and very funny clip – six, if you count Chris’ famous arms.

Firstly – Chris is playing Miley Cyrus to his kids. Miley Cyrus. Miley’s in a serious relationship (some say they might be married!) with Chris’ equally famous brother, Liam, and we are very much into this show of support and familial feels.

Secondly – In a scene that’s familiar to parents across the globe, kids are going nuts at bedtime in their freaking adorable skinny-legged pyjamas. They’re delighted to be larking about and extending the day just a wee bit longer, thanks to Miley.

Thirdly – A dad is revving up his kids at exactly the wrong time. At bedtime everyone! We’ve seen it before and we know we’ll see it again. It’s a dangerous move but Chris is used to danger, adventure and living on the edge.

Fourthly – Chris has all the very best dad dance moves – and he’s 1000 percent committed to them. No matter that he’s just revealed himself to be least likely to appear on Dancing With The Stars, he’s fully into it, his dog’s into it, his kids are into it. It’s all systems go. We’re into it too.

If this isn’t inspiration for your family’s Friday night dance off, than we don’t know what would be!
