It seems that he was born only a moment ago, but Prince Louis has actually just celebrated his second birthday on 23 April. Wow, that time has flown – though we suspect that his parents, Prince William and Duchess Kate might disagree!

To celebrate the day, the palace has released a gorgeous photo series, taken by mum, Kate Middleton, as has become the family’s tradition, showing cheeky little Louis having a ball painting a rainbow handprint, in thanks to NHS workers.

Happy Birthday to Prince Louis who is celebrating his second birthday today. 🎈🎂Prince Louis is The Queen’s seventh…

As the caption says, “🌈 Instagram vs Reality.” Indeed!
