Bring the adventure inside: Kid-style glamping on offer at Ritz-Carlton, Bali
Imagine the looks on your kids’ faces when you arrive at a luxury resort in Bali and they find a tent set up in their room?
In decades past, Aussie holidays with kids have meant going bush with a few tents or hitting up a coastal caravan park, listening to cicadas screeching and dousing yourself in mozzie repellent. While those holidays can be fun, there’s no denying the appeal of long white beaches, azure water, massages and cocktails at sunset.
After months (years!) spent making school lunches, washing/sorting/folding clothes and playing chauffeur to your children’s activity schedule, holidaying in an island paradise may sound too good to be true. After all, the last time you tried to sunbake on the beach, your kids gave you five minutes of peace before commencing a sand fight around you.
But the good news is you can have a luxury holiday without the sand fights! Resorts like the Ritz-Carlton in Nusa Dua Bali are making it easier than ever before to have that idyllic luxury holiday in paradise AND bring your kids.
Look! I Spy a Ritz Kids Night Safari
Like many family-friendly resorts, the Ritz-Carlton has a kids club program and a myriad of activities from fishing to dance classes, to inspire and educate children about authentic Balinese culture while having fun.
And now, the resort has introduced Ritz Kids Night Safari, with a tent set up by a kids counsellor, and packed to the brim with safari-style goodies, including a LED flashlight, compass, Lion doll, mini tote bag and Ritz Kids Passport.
The experience also includes a complimentary daily breakfast, access to the daily kid’s program and bedtime stories.
Kids will be delighted at the adventurous cubby space that they can play in during the day and snuggle in at night, sharing whispered stories of the African jungle. But be warned, they may never want to leave!
In-room set up at the Ritz-Carlton Nusa Dua costs $75AUD a day.
