It’s Melt Your Heart Monday and this adorable baby video fits the bill
US mum Carol Benjamin shared a big moment with her daughter Scarlet on Facebook and it’s fair to say that it’s since gone wildly viral.
Pure. Joy.
News services picked up the clip in a trice … and for very good reason. The video shows Carol’s 11-month-old baby girl getting sweetly emotional after hearing her big sister’s voice for the very first time. Watch the clip (below) and you’ll see what we mean!
“As everyone knows when Scarlet was born she was 3 months early,” Carol posted on Facebook explaining that baby Scarlet then contracted a nasty stomach infection had to be treated with a type of antibiotic that causes hearing loss.
“It has been a LONG and emotional experience. She reacted to most sounds so we thought she could hear fairly well. After what I witnessed today, it was not as well as I thought.”
