Newlywed comedian Amy Schumer is expecting her first baby
In typical Amy style, the pregnancy was announced with a funny nod to Duchess Meghan – and a little help from a clever friend.

Hinting at a possible pregnancy, Amy pretty hilariously shared a face-swapped Instagram post of Meg and Harry. She’d popped her and husband Chris Fischer’s heads on the Duke and pregnant Duchess’s photo – and then brilliantly asked her followers to become more engaged politically. #BecauseTrump
As she teased a pregnancy reveal with this face-swap – she pointed fans over to her pal Jessica Yellin at News Not Noise’s Instagram Stories to get the actual baby scoop.
“About to announce some exciting news on @jessicayellin insta page,” Amy posted.
“Please follow her for up to the minute #newsnotnoise She breaks down what’s really going on. She agreed to post a lil noise today for me! Follow her and VOTE!”
On Jessica’s Instagram, the pregnancy news was officially broken with the line “I’m pregnant – Amy Schumer” tucked at the bottom of a very long list of her recommended political candidates. (See below!)

Amy and Chris were married on 13 February in Malibu in front of 80 guests – Jennifer Aniston, Jake Gyllenhaal, Jennifer Lawrence and Chelsea Handler among them.
