Could Duchess Meghan’s pregnancy be further along than initially suspected?

The royal family announced that Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are expecting a baby on Monday, and many assumed she’d just nipped past the 12 week mark.

“I felt so sorry for her”

But Instagram would have us thinking otherwise, with a beautiful shot uploaded by singer Missy Higgins spilling even more detail on this much anticipated royal bub.

On Wednesday, Missy shared a photo of herself and her new baby girl Luna meeting the Duchess of Sussex in Sydney.  Having just navigated her second pregnancy, the singer mum was full of empathy for expectant Meg.

In the caption under the photo, Missy noted that Meghan was four months into her pregnancy.

“What an honour to meet the beautiful Duchess today!” Missy posted. “She was such a sweetheart. I said I felt sorry for her having to do all these meet-and-greets while 4 months pregnant! What a trooper.”

“Who’s this little cutie?”

Missy also revealed that Prince Harry was very taken with her little girl.

“Prince Harry was gorgeous too, a real charmer,” she explained. “He squeezed Luna’s legs and said ‘who’s this little cutie?’ ”

It was a royal introduction that totally passed her baby by, however.

“Looking forward to telling Luna she slept through it all one day,” Missy wrote.

March 27?

Updating her post a little later, Missy said that she was actually taking a wild punt on Meg’s bump.

“I should add that I have NO IDEA how far along Meghan is!” she explained. “Just taking a guess when saying four months!!”

Her guess perfectly aligns with Tuesday’s Babyology office chatter, where some of us guessed Meghan was sporting a silhouette that looked around the 16-week mark.

This guess would make the royal baby due around March 27 (during the UK’s Spring, as loosely confirmed by the Palace) … But only time will tell, right?!
