Pink’s 7-year-old daughter Willow has new hair – and her dad says it’s “badass”
If we were asked to choose the most interesting seven-year-olds we’ve encountered, Pink’s daughter Willow would probably be tip-top of the list.
Willow turns seven
Not only does Willow carve her own path when it comes to navigating life – and tricky feelings – she’s keen to do it looking exactly the way she wants. In this case, the way she wants is with purple hair, and honestly we don’t blame her because she looks totally brilliant.
Her dad debuted the new ‘do on Instagram … and the crowd went wild!
“Have you met my daughter Wednesday Addams???” Carey Hart posted. “Love you munchkin. #MyDaughterIsMorePunkThanYours”
Willow just turned seven and it appears the purple kind of celebration was on her birthday wish list. Her dad actually shared a bunch of photos of Willow, to honour her big day. It’s clear he loves his daughter’s hair as much as she does!

“My badass daughter”
This was an opportunity to make clear some other feelings too, this proud dad penning a mini tribute to his eldest “bad ass” kiddo:
“Happy 7th birthday to my badass daughter Willow!!!!!” Carey wrote on Instagram. “I love this little girl more than life itself. She is becoming such a strong, smart, sensitive, little girl. I’m so proud of everything you are and I enjoy every moment we are together. Even when you are giving me a hard time! Happy 7th big girl, your mamma, little brother, and papa love you around the moon 10 million times and back.”
Sob! It’s an emotional post from a gent that, on the surface, seems pretty stoic and guarded. Proof that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover – and you shouldn’t underestimate a dad’s love for his daughter … and her rad purple hair!
Stranger Things vibes
Carey is not the only one keen to express his fondness for Willow. His Instagram followers loved her new hair too!
“So adorable! Absolutely love that you let her express her individuality,” one wrote.
“I love her hair, and her attitude!” someone else posted.
“Omg! She’s Eleven from Stranger Things!” another pointed out. (Lots of people said the same thing about Willow channelling Eleven, in fact and we totally understand.)
Power couple Carey and Pink are parents to two great kids: Willow – who you now know has just turned seven – and son Jameson who is 18-months-old.
