Kristen Bell returns from Golden Globes to the cutest love notes from her kids
When Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard headed off to the Golden Globes yesterday, they had no idea they’d return to an avalanche of loved-up messages from their daughters.
Nomination admiration
It seems that while this cute couple fronted up to see what played out with Kristen’s The Good Place nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series, Comedy or Musical, five-year-old Lincoln and four-year-old Delta were hatching an adorable plan.
The girls got busy writing love notes on pretty paper hearts – possibly with some help from a babysitter – revealing how much they loved their parents … and how proud they were of their mum’s brilliant work.
Kristen shared several glimpses of the Golden Globes along with this sweet surprise on her Instagram stories, chuckling through the series of very heartfelt and earnest tributes.
“‘I love you, Mama, and I love that you have a nomination,'” she recited giggling to her Instagram followers, reading one of Delta’s notes.

If you don’t, we won’t
The notes were extremely flexible, compassionate and thoughtful, hat-tipping Dax Shepard’s recent birthday.
“Happy birthday, Dada. I love you,” another Delta note read. “I think, just if you want to, I can buy you a birthday cake. But if you don’t want sugar, we won’t. I love you, Delta.”
“‘Dear Mommy, I am really happy you got chosen and it breaks my heart,'” Kristen said, reading one of Lincoln’s notes.
“‘I am really happy for you. I even said I am really happy and it makes me happy inside, and I won’t be mean to Delta at all.’”
IT BREAKS MY HEART. Nawww.
The girls also sketched some portraits of their parents which Kristen not unfairly described as “grotesque” and they kind of do look like characters from The Walking Dead, don’t they?!
