Jessica Simpson had fans squealing with delight when she posted a super-sweet pic of her son Ace Knute holding her baby girl Birdie Mae on Instagram.

Don’t squeeze too tight, Ace!

Judging by Birdie’s furrowed brow, her big bro might have been cuddling her a little too enthusiastically. Or maybe it was just milk o’clock.

But baby Birdie, who’s already 11 weeks old, was still oh-so-cute in a blue-and-pink floral onesie.

As for Ace, who turns six this month, he couldn’t have looked like a happier or more doting big brother. With a grin the size of Texas, he’s clearly chuffed about his new role.

Jess simply captioned the photo, “#BIRDIEMAE #ACEKNUTE”.

And the fans went wild

Jessica’s followers couldn’t get enough of the happy snap.

“This picture is everything 😍. You have a beautiful family❤️,” wrote one follower.

“Beautiful Birdie Mae❤️❤️❤️ like her momma,” gushed another.

“So cute! She is so serious, learning everything while people carry her around lol. Adorable!” commented another fan.

“OMGISH ❤️ LOVE THIS PICTURE! Your babies are so beautiful ❤️❤️❤️,” someone else wrote approvingly.

Bonding with big sis

Big sister Maxwell “Maxi” Drew, who recently turned seven, has also had her fair share of cuddles with Birdie Mae recently.

Last week, Jess shared an equally heart-warming photo of Maxi holding her little sis like a pro.

One big happy family

Fans were also treated to a laidback family snap for Maxwell’s seventh birthday on May 1.

The gorgeous photo showed Maxwell and Ace cuddling their dog Dixie, dad Eric Johnson holding baby Birdie over a tasty-looking birthday cake, and mama Jess smiling sweetly as she took it all in.

“Happy 7th Birthday to my forever best friend and baby girl. You have given me the truest, most precious purpose of life. Without question, you are the coolest, most compassionate person I know. I love you. I wish I could blame all of my tears on hormones today 😭🥳💚 #MAXIDREW,” Jess’s emotional caption read.
