May the sauce be with you: Star Wars x Le Creuset cookware now exists

Posted in Home and Decor.

Oh. My. Gosh. We are delighted to tell you that Le Creuset has teamed up with the Star Wars folk, launching a limited edition range of cookware that’s about to pop up online and in store too.

May the sauce be with you

The forces that be just announced this brilliant mash-up, and they hope these pieces will soon be summoning up mashed potatoes, lamb shanks and shepherd’s pie in the homes of Star Wars and/or Le Creuset fans.

“A collaboration that spans generations and promises to fill kitchens everywhere with excitement,” Le Creuset says of these amazing pieces.

We are honestly ridiculously excited and may need medical attention.

“The fun, thoughtfully-crafted series offers something for everyone,” Le Creuset promises, “from young Padawan learners to Master Jedi chefs: the best-loved characters of Star Wars and the legendary quality of Le Creuset—tools to help you master your destiny in your culinary quest.”

The range includes droid mini cocottes, an amazing Han Solo roasting pan, a Porg pie bird (genius!), Death Star and Millennium Falcon trivets and the piéce de resistance – a Darth Vader Dutch oven.

Star Wars le Creuset

“I’m unable to resist”

People on the internet are as beside themselves as we are.

“This is the single most targeted creation towards me as a consumer. I’m unable to resist,” one wrote.

“The pie bird is brilliant … but imma gotta have that Han Solo roaster,” someone else commented.

“I don’t care what my wife says I need them all!!” another fan posted.

How much tho?

Le Creuset is not exactly cheap at the best of times, but their cookware lasts more than a lifetime, so it’s definitely a smart investment.

That said we’re not exactly sure how much these pieces will be. Start saving your pennies now, is our advice.

The limited edition Star Wars x Le Creuset range launches on 1 November.

And what we DO know is that it’s guaranteed to sell out (and pop up on eBay for $37 billion a piece before you know it.)

Le sigh.
