Transcending trends

Little Auguste is the brainchild of Byron Bay’s Ebony Eagles, a designer who’s keen on creating nostalgic pieces that will stand the test of time.

Turning her back on samey-samey offerings, in favour of enduring-yet-pretty style, Ebony’s developed a gorgeous range that you’ll want to see you favourite kiddo sporting, stat!

“Ebony started Auguste with a clear vision,” a rep explains “to transcend trends, and instead design future vintage pieces that would be loved for seasons to come.”

For the whole family

Price-points are important to budget conscious families and this label was developed with that in mind.

Little Auguste dresses range from $39 through to $60, the label’s t-shirts retail at $39 and are all cotton or linen-cotton blends. Skirts are $39, and the entire range comes in sizes from two to 10.

Little Auguste is the baby of the family, alongside Auguste Girl for older girls, and a more grown up Auguste for women. Not only does that mean you can dress the whole family in matchy-matchy style, it means you can spend your pennies with one excellent independent local label and get everyone sorted, too!

Ethics matter

These guys know the devil truly is in the detail. Almost all of this range is ethically produced by workers receiving a living wage, with the brand working passionately towards a 100 percent ethically produced figure in the very near future.

This is super important because it means those who produce the gorgeous garments — many of them mums themselves — can make a living from the work they do and support their families.

You can read more about Auguste’s ethics philosophy and their practical approach here.
