Here are some of the vexing problems that came up again and again – and Lynne’s excellent troubleshooting suggestions. We hope they make your breastfeeding experience a little easier.
5. My 10-week-old is a distracted breastfeeder, latching on and off. What can I do? Is she hungry at all?
Watch carefully for cues, rather than feeding routinely. You might also find that the flow of your breastmilk might be faster than your baby can manage. Adjust your posture to help adjust flow – leaning back as you feed to slow things down.
